Weinman GeoScience utilizes State of the Art technology to produce the highest quality 2D/3D pore pressure data available.
Successful drilling and completion depends on the accurate pre-drill analysis of formation pressures. 3D velocity variations are analyzed to yield accurate estimates of pore pressure in all locations from onshore to deep water. Each high resolution seismic velocity function is analyzed for water depth correction (offshore) and porosity decay to produce normal compaction trends which are then spatially analyzed and correlated to produce a local composite trend. The water-depth corrected composite normal compaction trend, known formation pressures, and the Eaton velocity method are used to calculate pore pressures for the entire 3D volume.
